What will Meditation do for me?

Even as little as ten minutes meditation every day will make a noticeable difference to your life. Meditation is a form of training, so the more you do, and the more consistently you do it, the more you’ll see progress.

What progress can you expect?

  • You’ll find that things that used to “push your buttons,” you can now face with calmness.
  • You will experience more confidence.
  • Your relationships with others will become more harmonious.
  • You’ll feel happier.
  • You may well sleep better.

You’ll accomplish all these things by learning more about the way your mind works. You’ll learn to recognize unhelpful patterns of thought, feeling, and action that tend to make you less effective. These unhelpful patterns include getting unnecessarily angry, or feeling despondent.

You’ll learn how to let go of these patterns.

You’ll also learn how to choose to respond more creatively, in ways that allow you to remain calm and aware of the effects of your actions on yourself and others. You’ll learn, for example, how to calm your mind and how to develop more empathy for others. You’ll learn to have more patience with yourself and others.

Once again, being a Gorean is not just about how good you are at killing people, but how good you can carry yourself. Being a Gorean is a higher stage of being, to speak. It is a Higher State of being, a Higher state of being a Master. We must be fully in control of our emotions, and meditation is the tool for which we use to achieve this state of control of ourselves. It is written before you can be a Master, you must be able to control yourself. These are the tools which you need in order to do just that. Learning to center yourself, will unlock the doors for which the human mind can go to the highest peaks, and walk along the deepest oceans, without drowning. Remember, Dominating someone, means within your hand, you hold a life. Your simplest of actions can affect that life. If you become unbalanced and fail, then it is not just you, you are hurting, but them as well. Bringing forth Control of yourself is not easy. However, when you have come to control yourself, your mind will open to new powers and strengths, and abilities for which are inside you, to make the decisions which lay ahead of you, and make them right. Emotion drives much. The sound of displeasure from a Owner, can hurt more then the sharpest of kurts. Make sure you use such powers for their rightful reasons, and that is to teach.
